I think people who want to vote for Lion’s Arch Aerodrome need to take a step back and look again. Preferrably looking at the map. The thing will be in Lion’s Arch already and it will likely be placed in one of the wards – why then not name it after the ward instead? City’s name won’t really bring anything interesting to the table.
Apex Aerodrome may not be the best candidate we could come up with, but it sounds like it could serve as something else than military airport. It falls into mind quickly and does make me think it’s some main hub – but maybe that’s just me.
The aerodrome will be part of Fort Mariner. It is a military service, just like all airships in Tyria. The entire purpose of the Aerodrome is to defend the city from anything that attacks from the air in the future, like Scarlet did.

Nowhere is it said that it will be the sole purpose though. Anyway, it still could use a more interesting name than the city it is placed in.
It would work better if it were “The Arch Aerodrome.” That flows better imo. Of course, it only really works for those who RP calling the city “The Arch” the same way they do DR “The Reach.”
I went with “Apex” as being more all around suited than the fairly bland “Martial.” Plus, y’know, alliteration is fun.
I just hope people won’t vote for King Doric. Lion’s Arch is a free city and should have nothing to do with a human king.
The only positive thing about it would be seeing Evon kittened :p
…Except Lion’s Arch was originally built by humans. Like just about everything in Kryta.
Let’s honor our past. (And the glory that is GW1)

Our past? It’s like USA building a statue praising crushing of Boxer rebellion in middle of Bejing. That said, Lion’s Arch was abandoned by the kingdom. Plus said kingdom flipped a big bird at the said city when Scarlet attacked.
