What time is this patch coming out?

usually at mid day patch day, so would be around 12.00pm PST 23rd June.

Mid-day would be about 5 hours before reset.

Technically they are not “American” time conversions or anything to do with the imperial system (which was originally used by the British and brought over to North America along with all sorts of diseases and the like).

Further, you don’t state which EU timezone you need as there are multiple EU timezones.

In any case, you can always Google the answer to those sorts of questions.

PST is equivalent to UTC-7, which is the same as GMT-7. So you will need to take the time in GMT, add 7 to it, and then convert that to whichever local time zone you use.

for EU around 7.00pm (evening)

for SEA players, it is around 3.00am 24th June (past midnight, very early morning)

Because GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) created London as the center of the world. GMT +/- London time. It may seem insignificant but we don’t consider England the center of anything.

As interested as I am to see the brand new Lion’s Arch, I’m just too depressed that my main gunslinger thief I built from day one will be rendered useless due to the apparent P/P hate Anet slammed on it.

In the past I’ve always looked forward to patches like this with excitement. This one though… sigh, I’m sorry, but I don’t think I could dread it more.

I’m happy for those that are excited for it, and I hope they have a lot of fun. For me, nah, this P/P thief destruction was just too much. Way below the belt.

In order to celebrate the new LA I offer the bounty of 100g to anybody who dresses up as me and talks to me in say chat with the same skins that I am currently wearing.

Omg omg omg I’m so excited for this patch. I’d try to stay up for this one in particular, but usually updates for me happen at around 4-7am in the morning, so I think I’ll have to sleep :-( but then I wake up to the awesomeness of the patch all ready to go :-D

England is the centre of the world map, used across the globe, unless the US has even gone and drawn itself a new world map. It was a simple point – showing everyone across a range of countries the time of a patch in a timezone used by a couple of them is a little bit of an odd choice given the availability of a universal alternative.

Oh right! On top of everything else, the new Lion’s Arch!

It’s like Christmas in June.
