So If all of Lions Arch is inhabited by Pirates, aren’t they paying for it by Pirating the water and local towns?

I can only assume that Lions arch is being paid for in part by the players but also by Pirating neighboring Elona and Cantha as well as any merchant ships not from Tyria?

It’s actually being funded by the Consortium, if I remember right. They have their surveyors everywhere in there.

Well I know the Zepherites tried to fund the reconstruction… not sure if being blown up sort of prevented said resources from reaching LA though.

No, its not being funded by the consortium, the consortium is contracted with the endeavor. There is a big difference, namely that the city council is paying them to rebuild Lions Arch rather than the other way around.

It was the Zephorite’s and Queen Jeanna’s fundraiser that gave LA the required funds to rebuild.

Green Wood, I think, is slightly cheaper. Elder Wood is used in promotion to Ancient Wood after all.

Also, less likely to burn, more pliable a building material, and gives those poor perma-Queensdale people something to do.
