Little things you love about GW2
Two words: Deposit Collectibles.
No more banks with unorganized ores, herbs, wood and whatnot.
The fights between mobs – seen a stag vs a bear and 3 elementals fight each other today. Gives a nice “real” atmosphere
Also, the strange noises from the bedroom of a certain house in divintys reach..
The tomb of Kilroy Stonekin. May he rest in peace..or mindless charge down spirits in the afterlife
GW2 is an amazing game with only a few HUGE flaws.
but 99% of the rest is almost perfect!
kind of weird how that could happen actually, but hey!
The amusing little discussions between NPCs.
The flavor text on karma gear always makes me smile. An example in the Iron Marches where you collect mortar rounds for a Charr, the heavy karma leggings says “These should help deflect the blast away from your more…sensitive… areas. – Centurion Truthbringer.” It adds a lot of character to PvE rather than mindless quest completion!

Err, clarify please? o.o
Nah, I’ll let you find that one for yourself
The Gravestone’s that are scattered across Tyria are really interesting / funny to read. Oh, and the conversations NPC’s have.
Turrets.
Simple as that.
Everything about Frostgorge Sound!
The music, the landscape, the foes, everything!
I would love to have 80 only levels like Frostgorge Sound.
Also love when NPCs drag you to an ambush! Its just amazing :-)
Thief class.
I played “rogues” and “thieves” and “assassins” and “ninjas” on other MMOs too but nothing comes close to how the class should play like GW2’s Thief imo.
Mobility, evasiveness, distractions, decoys, smoke bombs, stealing, saving other people by hiding them, and also the ability to choose what skill you use when you want to use it through a resource system instead of the obsolete, boring and creativity-restricting cooldown system.
the first 2 weeks of release….before everything got boring and repetitive
The increasing speed at which you craft materials.
the first 2 weeks of release….before everything got boring and repetitive
The OP wants to hear things we enjoy, take your grief elsewhere.
I love that Gullik Oddsson makes an appearance!
Charr cubs. I was fully expecting to feel at least indifference towards the Charr because of the Searing in GW1, but then a Charr cub or two ran up to me in Lion’s Arch (I think), said something funny, and then ran off, and I was like, “D’awwwwwwwww! Searing forgiven!” Okay, not really, but I can take that ancestral grudge up against the Flame Legion, so whatever.
Everything Asura, best race in any game ever
The wide variety of different animals and the passive sarcastic comments that some of the playable characters make.
“Oh, so you were just playing dead?” Ranger, upon reviving a pet.
“Congratulations to me.”
“Another confirmation of how great I am.” Are all lines I get a chuckle out of. But above all, I love the graphics in this game. Everything just looks beautiful.
Hearing an old asura npc complaining about being hung up by his ears on a signpost for two days during the golem rebellion. Warms the kittenles of my black little heart even now.
And back when I actually used to level up and say: “By the power of ME! Ha Haa.”
Asura.
ba dum bum

- I love the Asura. Just across the board.
- The majority of the ‘atmosphere’ dialog is great, especially in the Asura, Char and Norn areas.
- Deposit Collectibles – massive win right there
- Preview for armor and dyes.
- The option of transformation stones and the fact that you can get them reliably in game
- The trait that gives a thief caltrops when dodging. For some reason, this amuses me to no end.
- vistas. I really like that there is something that shows off the scenery
