Guild Wars 2

Was wondering. Has anyone see a LIVE banning? What I mean by that is, in the first Guild Wars if you got banned Dhuum would come out of the ground ,knock down your character ,and “ban” you, so to speak. Was wonderin’ if maybe this Tradition was in Guild Wars 2.

I would love seeig Dhuum ban against zoomhackers in WvW

Dhumm is currently in vacation it seems. Haven’t see “live bans” so far. I hope we’ll see them in the future

I’ve been live banned before, and I can confirm that nothing happens except you get booted from the game, and a little notification screen comes up saying you’ve been banned. You click “ok” and then you’re put to your desktop.

Either Anet is getting less creative than they were with GW1, or they’re being lore-friendly because the gods are “gone.”

Pfft. It’s better if Commandos would go burst in with helicopters and all and shoot you to the ground and say “This one’s bagged and banned”.

Or, Rytlock charges at you with a giant hammer that says BAN on it, and smashes you into the ground, with nothing but a little gravestone left with your name on it, that persists for several hours after your banning :P

Banhammer ftw! It would be funny seeing Rytlock doing that complete with a statement!

lol i can see that, kormir popping up shouting “you never fight alone” then wipes out half the gw2 accounts for botting :P

I’d vote for the Anet Commando’s to come and drag the player away kicking and screaming. :p

We need to start a “Bring Back Dhuum” campaign. But… the ANet Commando’s would be perfect as well. Drone strike FTW!

Just have them up and die, and leave their minimally clothed body on the ground for a few days with he floating text “banned” above it. First person to find the body gets the loot from the inventory.
