Living Orrians (potential for spoilers)
Orrian: "Son, would you like to know about your ancestry?
Orrian Child: “Sure thing, Dad!”
Orrian: “Once upon a time, Vizier Khilbron acted like a stupid kitten and sank Orr with one of the most powerful magicks in history. Vizier Khilbron is now Zhaitan’s ho.The End.”

Abbadon not Zhaitan.
Depending on how things work … possibly Kormir now.

I don’t think Zhaitan managed to get him back from the realm of torment…

I’ll just fix that third line for you.
Orrian: “Once upon a time, Vizier Khilbron was tricked into unleashing powerful magic that destroyed our homeland in a desperate last ditch attempt to stop Charr rampaging everywhere killing people for fun. Now Charr are worshiped as perfect heroes and Vizier Khilbron is considered the most evil person ever”
Well to be fair, the Charr were trying to push back an invasion by bug-eyed aliens from the Planet Earth.
They failed, and now they’ve had to make an alliance with the aliens from outer space to smack a few dragons around.
As for the Orrians, shouldn’t be too much of a spoiler to note that in the new novel it is mentioned that the Orrian sailing fleet was the most powerful among the bug-eyed space alien nations at the time of Orr’s sinking. Orr invented what was, before the time of that novel, the most advanced sailing navigational instruments.
We can be almost certain that many of its sailors and traders were abroad at the time of the events.

If Abby completely took him away, then I would like to know who it is that waits at the chest on top of that JP. =n=
That guy up there is just a random risen wizard. I’ve always assumed he was one of Khilbron’s lackeys. Either a local wizard who work with him, or an apprentice, or just some fool opportunist who noticed the guy’s house was empty and broke in minutes before the place sank.

I guess ill be doing some research today.
He was way more powerful than a soloable risen left to rot on the top of a tower. :P

Veteran Risen Wizard.
Besides, the Vizier’s body was vaporized in lava at Abbadon’s mouth along with the rest of the stuff after the eruption.
ugh.. thinking about the GW1 plot makes me sad… so much better then the stories in GW2… =(

Calling the humans of GW1 invaders makes less sense then calling current Americans invaders of North America.

I think he’s speaking of the theory that humans came to tyria from another planet.
Orr Wise it is a certainty that some orrians survived the cataclysm, while the explosion did not leave much time to escape, some may have evacuated due to the impending charr invasion force while some may have been out of the country during the event.
The actual amount and their existence over the past 250 years but it’s very likely a few humans have some orrian blood in them.
Maybe in one of the GW1 handbooks I’ve red that the charrs marched through Orr in less than 12 hours, so not much time to escape. The few that were somewhere else in the world have survived, but because of the risen hordes threating everyone, they often hide their ancestry from others.
The thing I don’t get is the fact about the Orrian army. Orr fell because its armies had been stationed in Ascalon and Kryta, to stop the fights. Basically, this army made 0 influence to the events. We haven’t seen a single soldier in Ascalon, and heard nothing about united Orrian and Krytan forces fighting the charrs.
The orrian army just disappeared.
Fear The Crazy [Huns]
Not every Orrian had to be at home though.
Lore states that some decendants off orr survived but dont let that be known…
Search divinitys reach on the wiki! about a 3rd of the way down
yeah more of a Lore topic here than a future exposition opportunity.
We knew people really got around … even during the first guild wars. We knew the big schism then round about when Abaddon was ousted, that those Orrions expanded S.E. b/c there was several Temples in his name down there. Was also plenty evidence of settling in Tarnished Coast and mention of some Orrion commander secretly supporting those pirates which haunted the shards of orr in TC. It was hard to tell even in Gw1 b/c the Asurans swept in and so rapidly built right over the top of anything with mystical relevance there. But given the hints in the Viziers Tower as well… there was clearly a north VS. south thing going on and we’re still waiting for the full story on what part the Mursaat played in it (their HQ being just north of Rata Sum).
For all we know, Livia (and all her neighbors) was of direct Orrion lineage…
…probably also explaining her obsession with the staff

That’s debatable.
(by which I mean the Lich was kind of pathetic in both missions you fight him)

Yes, that is why I debunked that theory as an adequate excuse.
Also has anyone else notice how there are risen asuran and norn in orr? How did they migrate there? Werent asurians underground during that time?
too many loophole!
