Guild Wars 2

Can someone please explain or give directions about this phase of the story. I read the patch notes; so I know more activity is going on in Wayfarer and Diessa. I received a letter from Logan asking me to help out. But there were no specific directions about what or who to talk to. I tried talking to different npc’s with the stars but they just talked about things getting worse.

In chat people kept saying where to find certain objects, but I had no idea why we’re looking for those or how they knew. People I asked didn’t know either .. they were just getting the items because people in chat had given out locations.

I must have missed something. I can’t enjoy this “story” when I’m not getting any story. Thanks for any help.

Talk to the refugees in the SE section of Lion’s Arch, specifically, the two with names.

Patch notes indicated some refugees moved into Lion’s Arch. I looked for an orange star.

basically this part of the story added new events to wayfarer’s foothill and Diessa plateau that spawn up invaders (dredge and flame legion) and the objective is to defend the area, drive the invaders away and close portals that spawn them.

In lions arch you’ll find refugees that are missing personal items that you have to go out to the above mentioned area and find under snow covered mounds and dirt covered mounds and return them to their respective owners.

most people will be nice enough to help you find items and tell you were invaders are poping up so dont be afraid to ask around for help.

Its deliberate, the design is to tell u the zones and u go out and find it rather than have an arrow direct players. I know u what u mean by vague, but i preferred it. I just took used the mail as a rough guide and headed to the relevant zones.

Sadly, there was barely any content for it. A good story is building here, but we want more!!

The other one, Lost and Found, can be only done up to 2/6. the 4 other items will be released in other phases of this event.

So you just went to the zones and started wandering around looking for some events. I was totally frustrated for over an hour. When I asked in chat what we were suppose to be doing no one could really explain it. I just kept seeing certain objects mentioned, but no reason given as to why we should collect them or how they knew to look for them. I think very few people really understood it because no one explained it like the posters above. Thank you for your replies. At least I understand the event a little better now. I personally don’t like vague story telling.

It’s not where you should start. If you go the Black Citadel and talk to the Refugee Coordinator there he will tell you about people moving to Lion’s Arch.
