Couldn’t sell to the trade post, so relogged and now login server is down. Wonder if anyone is manning the ship on a sunday before a holiday?

My gf and I are having same problem. We live in MI and CA respectively.

Same issue here. I was selling on trading post then it said error to sell; I restarted the client and now I can’t seem to connect to the login server again..

I secretly think these problems were brought about by the bad karma introduced into the universe when they broke Plushy Griffon and wiped the swimming skill from his mind because he didn’t do it right.

I find this confusing, why was the original thread of ‘log-in failure server’, was closed in ‘The tech support forum’ and transferred here?

Since when problems like these aren’t considered, technical support problem?

Most likely. The last time I looked in tech support was for the harpy d/c issue in fractals and that must have been 5 months ago.

Yeah, being directed to general made no sense to me, either.

But, whatever floats their boats and will (maybe) get us updated quicker and in a more consolidated way.

Well I had party bugs all night in COF so maybe the servers were dying anyway and needed a good reset. We’ll see.

Why does it matter? they now have one thread to respond in and general is more looked at , so it makes sense.

what makes it worse is that theres a different message everytime i try to log in a simple “sorry something messed up and we’re working on it, please try again later” would be nice XD

Re-downloading TSW while I wait. So it’ not completely lost time at least….

I wish they would change the text on the error message that occurs when their servers go down. As it is now, the error message casts possible blame on the user’s connection or firewall settings. This could lead an unsuspecting user to try to make changes to their computer or router that are not warranted.

On a semi-related note, I put in a ticket, just like the message told me to (one of the 2 error messages I’m getting trying to log on), and wow….it asks you to prove you are a real live boy like 3 times. Once during log in, once after submitting the ticket, and once after I told them my ticket wasn’t answered in their faq… Why the distrust anet
