Guild Wars 2

So I been playing this game since launch and I have used the “Looking for group” for awhile now while soloing. Every time I have checked the list literally no one is “looking for group” Since you guys “monitor” game activity (Coming from the post about everyone waypoint rushing in dungeons) Do you guys plan on maybe making this tool more useful?

I’m in lions arch right now and not one person is “looking for group” maybe it’s just my server? Bad luck? Does anyone else use this tool? Will this tool maybe be used for a Dungeon finder or maybe to enter a queue to party up for a dungeon or big events? Some info I guess would be nice.

ive never used it, not even followers or friend list…just the block list.

That site is great. I could not find groups at all for AC story mode but someone pointed me to this site. On two characters it took me about 5 minutes each to get a full group for it from that site.

Yep, lfg.com is the way to go. Instant parties for any dungeon.

A channel would work…so I don’t have to see the spam

From my understanding, the LFG tool in game only works for people on your friends list.

no i’m not a warrior or a mes so i don’t generally bother..

I ask in guild… if i get five responses we go if not we don’t , most of the time i DON’T even want to do insane dungeons anymore..

The lfg in this game is inferior in each and every way. Even GW1 had a better system. The person who created that should be slapped with a wet noodle.

The lack of a workable in-game LFG tool is really this games most glaring oversight, especially this far after release. gw2lfg.com is an excellent resource, but it shouldn’t be necessary.

the “LFG” option isnt actually viable. It’s pretty useless in its current state so everyone uses gw2lfg.com instead. I’m hoping for a better in game solution by Anet eventually. Cause ya know alt tab is serious business and im lazy

nope cos all it does is puts a symbol by your name… so its pretty much pointless so no one uses it

I’ve seen people out in the world with the blue symbol by their name often.
I usually ask them what they need and mostly it is just someone looking for some company while doing hearts and stuff.
I usually help out for a while if I can

No.I don’t use it and won’t use it.In it’s current state it is more than useless

Sometimes it works on Cursed Shore events. Sometimes I just finish the chain alone and abandoned. :P

The problem with a future lfg tool is that any new toll will be useless unless it is able to perform BETTER than gw2lfg.com. In all honesty, Nothing really will and they would be best suited to purchase and implement gw2lfg.com into the ui and not change a thing about it.

Also, for those who aren’t grouping bc of Warrior Mesmer speed runs in cof, you do realize that is ONLY 2 paths of one dungeon. Even as a warrior I try to join normal groups. Don’t let speed runners discourage you.

I didn’t know there was a LFG tool. But after reading this thread, now I know what that blue symbol is by player names. I’ve been wondering that for a while!

Nope. I tried it. But (1) it only shows people in the same area on the same server, and (2) it doesn’t say what you’re LFGing for. Ergo, worthless as the paps on a boar hog.
