Looking for a cool character name.
Welcome to the club. Going for length doesn’t work due to character limits so no Sir Awesome the Executor for you.
You could look to other games or cartoons for inspiration, or go with a theme. Since the name itself will likely be taken you want to write a descriptive term like, “the cool” or whatever and keep going until something isn’t taken.

Okay thank you!
If you want valid name suggestions from the forums you need to say what race it is and if you have a personality in mind, what that is.
Alright cool thanks

…see what I did there?
Older Char warrior: Fos Grizzledmuzzle
Asura: Foss The [title]

Depending on your choice of race, you could do a search for culture-specific name lists and see if any strike your fancy. Nordic for Norn, Celtic for Sylvari, pretty much anything (I like the Tolkien appendices, personally) for human , etc.
Like the char, nice. I am either doing a char or human warrior.
Flamefang the Frizzled for charr, Deranged Lunatic human
Something I didn’t realize when I made my first few characters is that you can use some modified letters (i.e. with acute accents like this: í é á). I had to copy the symbols from Word to put them there — haven’t figured out how to type them with my normal keyboard. So if you have something you like that’s taken, this is a simple way to respell it without changing the look so much. So if Grizzledmuzzle is taken, try Grízzledmuzzle.
Also I like Latin names that mean something cool. Larvas Necavi means ‘I kill ghosts,’ and I’ve long thought it would be a great charr name, were I inclined to make a charr.
in fact, we’re going to put the goons to sleep.
Meanwhile – we dig.

I would suggest you to take a look at this place:
http://fantasynamegenerators.com/
There are even Guild Wars 2 name generators for each races if you scroll down a bit. Some names may sound a bit silly, but I got a few good ones for my characters from there.
…and if you decide to create a Charr, you can also try to add a roman title before his name (e.g. Legate Painclaw, Prefect Steelspire).
Hope that helps :)

Larvas is the accusative form of Larvae, because it is the object of the statement (ghosts are what is being killed)
If you look on the etymology section of of the wiktionary article, it explains that the English word larva is derived from a Latin word meaning ‘ghostly’
Sadly, there aren’t a lot of good Latin resources on the internet. I can type examples from a textbook into Google translate, and get gibberish in return. Here is a good dictionary that goes English-Latin or vice versa, if anyone’s curious: http://www.archives.nd.edu/words.html
EDIT: I didn’t see the Latin definition at the bottom of that article! That’s cool. As you can see on the declension chart that Larvas is the accusative plural.
I’m just ridiculously pleased someone asked me a Latin question. :-)

I once made a swashbuckling ranger and named him Hanzo Sonata. People kept telling me how cool that name was. And the ladies swooned at his very presence. You can have that name if you want, but only if you make a swashbuckling ranger.
Your welcome!
Name it Charrly Sheen
