I just found out that after the 28th people will have to pay to change servers. I just started playing GW2 not that long ago and i am still jumping around trying to find the server for me, now because of the deadline in a few days I thought I might ask some people what server is best for what I am looking for. So yeah, I am looking for a pve server where the lower lvl area’s have a decent amount of people so I am not running around alone trying to kill events boss all day. It would be great if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Tarnished coast is very fun to be in we do everything even PvP (#5 and climbing in WvW). Also, you may need to learn how to Role Play(RP) as its the unofficial official RP server in NA.

Tarnish Coast would be a good bet, its the GW2 roleplaying server. Lots of players playing pve and having fun. Sometimes tho you’ll see some things you cant unsee in the back alleys of Divinity’s Reach lol.

Keep in mind that there are populated servers where you won’t need to hang out with people doing Rytlock-Logan ERP in a back ally.

Not Maguuma though, never come here.

You do not need to roleplay on the unofficial RP servers, but if you hate roleplaying or roleplayers, then it is a bad choice.
I’m from the EU unofficial RP server, Piken Square. We’re not full, last I checked it was a ‘high’ server. There are people around most of the time, not in the middle of the night so much. To me it actually feels there’s more lately than a couple of months ago.

If you have jumped on a server less than a week ago, I fear you are stuck on that one unless you pay though. But the good new is, of course, that no matter what your home server is, you can play on any server in your region (NA or EU) after Monday. The only reason to pay for a change would be wanting to represent a certain server in WvW.

Yak’s Bend has a friendly community with a mix of people doing PvE, PvP and WvW. Was in Queensdale Thursday night and there were people running around.
