So, my friends have stopped playing this game. To be honest, they never really started. However, I have just got back into the game after a while, and I am absolutely loving it, BUT I think it would be a lot more fun if I had someone to play with on the Gates of Madness. I would like to just have a bit of a disclaimer: I am 14 years old. I can completely understand if you have a problem with this, and if you do, no hard feelings. I would say that I am fairly mature, but the whole “im matur 4 my age tho” attitude is usually not taken seriously, so I won’t bother trying to convince you. This doesn’t mean that a person I end up playing with can’t be older or younger than me, as long as they are fine with me being 14. Now that that is out of the way, I would like to just list some stuff that would make the perfect playing partner for me. I don’t expect anyone to have all of these traits, of course, but having some of them would be good
. I hate to make this like an application process, as that just makes me feel arrogant, but i can’t really see another way. So, things that have an asterisk are required. I will also list some of my traits.
Being 14, most of what happens in my life is up to my parents. This means that on some days, I could get on for hours, while on others I might get on for minutes, if at all.
*Building on the previous statement, I am not looking for someone who is a hardcore player. While I respect those people, I don’t have the time to play all of the time. In other words, I’m a filthy casual who is looking for other casuals.
*My computer can not handle all of the zergs in WvW, so I would like to stick to just PvE, and maybe some PvP. This may not last forever, as I am saving for a more powerful machine.
Someone who has not explored a lot of the world would be good. I am not new to the game, but I haven’t explored much myself, and I think it would be fun to discover things with another person. However, this is not required.
*I would like to start a new character with someone, as that is just a good experience. I don’t want to force anyone to play a specific profession, so there is no requirement for that. I’m not entirely sure what I will be playing, but it is between a Warrior and a Thief.
Should have mentioned this before, but I am male, just thought you should know.
*I would rather not have someone completely out-level me when I am not online. I don’t like demanding, but it is very important to me that my playing partner not continue playing when I am not online. This does NOT mean I don’t want you to play the game at all, it just means I would like you not to play the specific character that you are playing with me. So for example, if you are playing an Ele with me, when I get off I would appreciate you switching to your other Ele or your Warrior or something.
I like playing the game for discovery and enjoyment, so grinding and using craft guides is not really something I am interested in. I want to start Cooking, so if someone wants learn it with me, that would be cool.
I love to help people, so if my playing partner needs help with his/her personal story, a certain quest, or getting a Legendary, I would be more than happy to help.
