Loot bags scaling with level ups?
I’ve been told by a few different people in my guild the answer is no. The bag loot is rolled for your level or something like that. At least that’s what I’ve been told. Maybe a dev will be able to answer.

Last time I did it (pre-dec 10), it worked, gave bags from lvl 30 to 80, 80 opened them scalled to 80…

I’ve done this with Queensdale Champ bags — I saved up bags that I got while leveling and opened them at much higher levels. My conclusion is:
The loot bags give either loot from the level of the champ or loot from the level you’re at when you open the bag.

I guess it does read a bit weird… What I meant was that there’s a bit of RNG and so those are the two possibilities. However, you definitely don’t get loot of the level you were at when you got the bag.
The level of gear is based on the level of the character opening them.
The level of the crafting materials is based on the rarity of the bags.
The rarity of the bag is based on a combination of the character level and the champion.

I’ve done it first hand with the QD champ train. Everything’s scaled up when you open them on a level 80.
They had to SPAWN MORE OVERFLOWS!

It’s always been known.
It’s not a bug – it’s just how the game works. It doesn’t really give you any advantage at all.
I supposed you could save all your bags until 80 in the hope that they might have a precursor, but it’s just as easy (if not easier) getting the same bags when you’re level 80 as you have all your talents and skills.
