Essentially I was doing PvP all weekend, finally got 40/40 PvP track for Arah and on my Necromancer assumed it would only give me light armor option.

I’m extremely upset to find I accidentally picked the Heavy Armor chest, because I thought it would by default give me only light armor for a choice based on the class I was.

Can I undo picking the heavy chest and trade it for a light armor chest?

No, you’ll have to do the entire track again. Salvage the armor or give it to alt~ hopefully it unlocked a collection you didn’t have at least. I been using tracks to 100% all dungeon collections. So far finished Arah and TA.

I just don’t have any interest in Heavy Armor for Arah, only light. This is literally an awful feeling that just makes me want to quit playing. That excitement immediately crushed by a wrong choice…. smh.

I do believe you will need to redo that track and get the correct armor next time. If they refunded for wrong choices, people could deliberately choose the wrong one then contact support and get another for free.

That one can be put into your wardrobe for an alt to use and to fill out the dungeon set for the achievement.

It only takes about 6 days (8 days?) to get another piece if you only do the dailies PvP.

Be careful what you ask for
ANet may give it to you.

Unfortunately you’ll just have to do the reward track again. You could always submit a ticket on the off chance they’ll help ya out but most likely not. Just be more careful on the next reward track and be sure to read before choosing your option.

To survive this world you must be mad as a hatter. Luckily for me, I am positively insane.

Try contacting the support, it is worth a chance.

I had a friend who picked the wrong breather during Wintersday event and support was able to help, switching from medium to light if am not mistaken.

I’ll try a ticket, they can delete the chest from my wardrobe, I don’t care I don’t want the heavy arah chest. So I don’t mind a total swap and replacement.

Honestly, that’s just way too minor an issue to warrant any sort of action. It’s a reward you can easily (and repeatedly) earn through the PvP track or even running the dungeon, not an exceedingly rare RNG drop or one-time reward that could take months to get again.

Also CS is pretty backlogged right now and you probably won’t get a response until next week at earliest, so you might as well make use of that time to redo the PvP track.

For future reference, skins are unlocked account-wide. There is no reason for ANet to assume that because you are on a light armor character, you only want light skins.

I just know that I picked the wrong xmas toy reward and they didn’t do anything for it. So I have 2 Toy Soldiers when I coulda got Doll and have full collection c.c Doesn’t hurt to try though I guess. But something like the Arah armor you can still get~ just keep doing spvp dailys.

when you submit the ticket, they’ll tell you if they can give you the other weight.
If they do, they’ll ask you to destroy the item you got and tell them what time you did that (I assume they have a log for that). Then they’ll mail you the replacement. Don’t destroy it until they tell you they can give you the other one. You have a reasonable chance of success, gl!

You hurried through the prompts and chose the wrong one – when it specifically prompts you to choose what you want ,and now you want to revert your mistake?

At this point, quitting may be best for you.

My experience with buying/getting the wrong reward has been what Mystic said. On occasion CS may be able to swap out the chest you have for the one you want. (this is what happened with my kitten wrong head gear pick about a month ago).

Though honestly if you just re-run the track it may be faster, CS is prety backed up, and average turn around for something like this seems to be around one week.

Over all, be more careful in the future, and best of luck on getting it swapped out!

It’s about the journey, not the destination. It might suck now, but just keep playing and you’ll forget about it.
