I’m sure there’s a good reason, or at least I hope there is, as to why looted siege weapons from BG chests are soul bound and not account bound.

Can’t two friends easily work around this issue by dropping and picking up? It seems pretty silly that the only deterrent for getting them on one toon is the tedious task of dropping and picking up. Why not just make them account bound?

dropping and picking up is the intended trade method because fixing the code to make them account bound is too hard for us right now – what anet actually said about this

Alright, well I won’t complain too much about a f2p game. I’ve paid monthly for worse games. At least they acknowledged the issue and plan to fix it.
