Is this a new change or a bug to lose your stacks when you WP in the same region you are building stacks in?

Bound to be a bug. I’ve seen chat in PvE talking about it. I waypointed and didn’t lose my stacks.

Probably a bug. I’ve seen it happen in wvw too.

There has been no response by devs on this matter or the other stacking sigil related changes. Functionality stealth changed or bugged, we just do not know and they are not telling us.

My opinion on this specific issue is that it is a bug relating to the other changes made to stacking sigils and land/water/swapping stack loss (which seem to have been, and likely were stealth changes and intentional).

WELL, IMO, going from land combat to water combat, stacks SHOULD RESET.

It only resets if you change zones. It’s always been that way.
