Losing Guild chat after switching chars
It’s so annoying.
“Whose Kitten is this?” – “It’s a Charr baby.”
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
Unfortunately there isn’t any. It would be a nice option if it stayed though…

I think because each character’s guild representation is handled separately it just reloads guild chat completely each time you change characters. That’s a total guess, but yeah.

Yea, you’d expect stuff like gold spam would go away instead.

I’m just going to chime in and say that I’m also all for a QoL fix that retains guild chat when swapping characters. It drives me nuts that I have to ask what were talking about after swapping during a conversation, or having to ask if I missed anything..

And don’t even get me started on party chat upon kicking…
Same. It’s annoying to have it disappear. I frequently switch characters also and will see a comment appear on guild chat right as I’m switching.
As a QoL change, keeping both guild and party chat should be put in.
