Hey guys… pure speculation here, but could the margonites be coming back? For the GW1 veterans: margonites were ocean-dwelling people right? I’m assuming with Kormir in charge of the Realm of Torment now, maybe they’re not corrupted anymore and showing up in Tyria again?

Thinking about it, wasn’t there a mysterious winged margonite-like humanoid underwater somewhere in-game already?

I’m not up to that part of the storyline yet, but weren’t they the Largos?

Oh. I think I saw one on an explorable map somewhere. Huh. I guess they do already have names. They really do look like margonites though…. minus the glowiness.

Ah okay. I always thought they were a distinct race that was warped by Abaddon.

Yeah, I think I remember reading a devchat thing saying that Abaddon is dead, dead. I seem to remember the remainder of the Margonites being hunted down by the Forgotten & parts of Palawa Joko’s army. Although there was one Margonite who had become an Apostate – maybe there are more?

What about that woman you see in your personal story? You know the one that has a Russian accent and wears what appears to be a gas mask? Are these the Margonites you are speaking of?

My moneys on Mursaat. More interesting than Margonites, and the White Mantle is still around. ^^

does anyone know what happened to the Margonites anyway? With Kormir taking over the aspects, did they vanish with Abaddon or are they now Kormir´s gang?

That is a Largos.

The Largos remind me of Quarians from Mass Effect. It would be cool if they were a playable race with customizable wings and having their main city be underwater.

I suspect we’re going to see a LOT more of the Largos.
