Anyone else noticed this? Like in the last 2 hours i got about 20 different ppl whispering me such offers. No matter how manny you report new ones rise. Its like a zombie slaughter fest xD

Maybe with the MegaServers, specially on PvP Lobby and some specific maps, it’s actually being gold-seller friendly as they can reach much more people, also they are more now (megaservers maps again) so we must keep reporting but most certainly we will keep with more spam of Gold Sellers since this patch.

I haven’t had a goldseller spam in about a week now.

Ridiculous prices so more demand for gold.

you can’t enter mega hoelbrak without being pounced on by Gold Bots.

There was a sale on last week. Gold sellers pounce on those like a cheetah on a lame gazelle. Don’t worry, though, ANet will roll out a ban wave in a month after the damage has already been done.

It is also possible some accounts may be compromised from the heartbleed bug this past week. If a person used the same password and email on an attacked site, the credentials could be tried on the game to bot.

It is recommended to never share passwords between sites and services you care about. The multifactor authenticator also helps emmensely. For sites that may have been heartbleed impacted, check their patch level with the many tools out there then change your password.

To my knowledge, GW2 was not one of those, but it never hurts to change your passwords to something secure every once in a while!
