Love new things to do.. BUT..
This is a problem that has plagued just about every MMO in existence.
How do you keep old events playable when game veterans have already moved on to newer content? What about the newer players that have not had a chance to play that older content? When the next expansion comes out, will there be enough people in Dragon Stand to even do the meta-event against the Mouth of Mordremoth? What about the Chak Gerants in Tangled Depths? Or even the Matriarch in Verdant Brink (to say nothing of the map-wide meta-event there)?
I certainly agree that this is something that /should/ be discussed, but I have to say this…
I have yet to hear a real viable solution to this problem.
… The human race would never have to worry about be oppressed again.”
I think trolls should have their computers smashed. ’Its all part of the game. U mad bro?’

With the next expansion, HoT will be bundled for free. HoT will also likely be added to the free client, either then or with the 3rd expansion. At that point, HoT will be more active than it was at launch, considering HoT didn’t sell very well at the time. After that however, then yes, HoT will die out, but you don’t need massive zergs, you only need 3-5 people per objective, so like ~20 people for a successful meta. The catch however is that with less people, you have to actually try, compared to a half AFK zerg casually winning.
I think they may also nerf old content. I went out to the Silverwastes a few days ago (I haven’t done it since months prior to HoT) and the lanes were up, so I figured I’d do it. Boss 2 had just failed, and most siege carriers were lost, so I went to lane 3 to find myself solo. I had no problem both defending the lane and doing the boss solo. Unfortunately, the next lane failed their boss, which if I was only there earlier, I would have easily solo’d it too. I’ve done the breaches solo in the past back when it first released, but now they’re just trivial, which makes it even more hilarious when groups fail.
