Love the community!
Hands down the best community I’ve ever had the pleasure of playing with
Agreed Some older games have good community, some newer ones scare the life out of me :P I leave them thinking “holy cow humanity is de evolving” :P

I agree. I enjoy being able to ask a question in /map and actually get an answer instead of getting whispers like, "LoLs noob’.
I enjoy being in the middle of an event or when I’m in a touchy situation and someone runs up and helps me for no reason. I’ve seen this on skill point markers many times. On some of the more difficult ones, if someone sees me heading that way they often follow me and then jump in when I need help.
As opposed to many MMOs I have played, I actually don’t feel like I have to have /map turned off most of the time because the conversation is typically interesting without much trolling.
Yep, it’s a great community. Much better than the community of any other MMO I’ve played.
Alot of the game’s mechanics are designed ta create that sense of community instead of competition and you really see that reflected in game.
I’m sorry I stepped outta yer box, don’ worry, if
ya whine enough they’ll put me right back.
I love it too. I continually pat myself on the back for being clever enough to find such a wonderful game. Actually, the truth is, I had to be talked into it because the title of it made me suppose it was all about guilds doing pvp. I came from a game where pvp was all people had once they reached the top level. I am so pleased that I do not have to do it in this game as I was never comfortable with it.
The game I came from charged you to resurrect yourself but also charged you to resurrect other players. Only the very generous or the much reviled (but essential) pay to play players could afford to do that. In perfect contrast, the most heart-warming message I have received in GW2 is when I was rejected for trying to save a downed person because there were ‘too many resurrectors’. That speaks volumes for the players of this game and the underlying philosophy.
In game community is the best there is in the online world the forum well we have a lot of ppl who do not play the game and have more fun posting on the forums why they quit over and over (read there past post its crazy how many times they say the same thing lol) and the ppl who play but like to complain about every thing and i mean EVERYTHING.

MMO forums are the place where people take all their gripes and nitpicks and poky accusations, most of them aren’t even bad people or bad players, just venting because they want things to be even better than they already are.

But venting is not a discussion! Need an anger room on these forums i guess lol.

I love running medic in large events, it’s always very rewarding. What is funny, though, is – like you mention – when you see five people racing to res the same person.
