I was surprised an annoyed. I could not steamroll everything anymore and I had a use for my warriors condi cleanses on the shouts.

I second the OP. The enemies were well enough designed that I actually was downed once or twice on my zerker thief. Normally that doesn’t happen…
Yeah no idea if it was the build I was using or not but I found the mobs in the story zones to be actually difficult. I definitely was downed at least once, and while fighting the end champ got downed a couple times. Was great stuff, look forward to the next additions.
I actually had to take the lessons I learned in the Gauntlet and apply them to group combat to survive. What the heck, Anet?!

I use a mish mash balanced build at the moment and just thought my damage was bad.
Now i know i am actually quite good against them, since i was never downed :p
The Inquest was indeed fun to fight. We really need more ennemies like this.
Those annoying inquest assassins, im suppossed to be the one doing the backstabbing!.
Sounds like ennemies are less and less hp meatbags that stand still while we FGS them on a wall.

I wish it’d get even harder (at least for optional content. maybe a NG+ mode for the story instance so you can replay it at a higher difficulty for more rewards?) it was a bit tougher – especially that veteran golem thing, but probably because I didn’t understand what it was doing so I just dpsed it down – but I didn’t really have any trouble for the most part.
