Guild Wars 2

I’m new at the game, and I just wanted to say that I’m loving it so far! The games has most thing that I love and always had trouble finding in other MMOs.
It has lots of exploration, lots of easy and rewarding teamwork, a rp community, very handsome and hunky male characters, lots of house and tavern interiors for RP, and I don’t feel so trapped doing quest after quest qfter quest when levelling.
I know that many people may think that I like it just because I’m new but I think it’s also important to give the opinion of some new people that are starting.

To make this topic a worthwhile discussion, what do you guys enjoy about Gw2? whings things are what make you come back to play it?

I enjoy looking like a swag overlord. Such swaggy goodness.

I’d just like to add that most of the disgruntled voices on the forums are long time players who started out just like you. It’s just that after a while (~1 year for me personally) you have done everything there is to do and ANet is particularly slow at adding new content so you’ll eventually run into a wall of having done everything – eagerly waiting for new patches/LS episodes only to find out that they provide content for about 1-2, maybe 3 hours with all the achievements. Rinse, repeat, and then there were all those multiple months long breaks.

I guess the change in direction to an add-on model remedies some of that. Just keep in mind that everyone here loves the game. They just don’t like seeing it go in a direction they disagree with.

I love this game too!! I’ve recently reached lvl 80 for the first time and I don’t find it boring yet, I’m doing lots of dungeons and working on getting ascended armor at the moment. What I like the most is how easy it is to get into groups and how beautiful the game is! :)
