Well, I’ve been noticing that some starting zone (after you defeat the first boss) is that the zones seem dead, like I cannot find any new players anymore.. I get the feeling that I’m pretty lonely there. I was wondering if its like that for the whole game. Any insight would be great.. Thanks and have a nice day.

Once you reach 80 there really is no reason to stay in lower-level zones.

There are also several zones for each level range and as such, you have characters within your level range spread all over the world.

It also doesn’t help that we have a Living Story event that uplevels everyone to 80, so low levels are trying to take advantage of that.

You might want to consider guesting to the more popular servers, such as Tarnished Coast or SoR.

I’m also a new player…on Fergusson’s Crossing, I run into a fair amount of other players. Less than I’d expect, but more than a few.

Wehn I played wow the starter zones were empty too, it’s just a natural fact of theme park mmos it seems. Generally you should check out the daily, as whichever region has a “kills” or “events” (like Maguuma Kills or Kryta Events) will have lots of people that want to get it done quickly.

So basically get to Lions Arch as soon as possible so you can go to each capital quickly.

I’m on Aurora Glade and the zones seem quite populated.

Come to Desolation. All the starting areas have players and Queensdale (human starting zone) is full of players from morning till late at night (EU time). Friendly people in the map chat are telling when the events are starting and which events are up. You can level up or do your daily very fast indeed.

We are probably the biggest English language server in Europe.

Some servers have a high population on all maps including starter areas. I’ve always found starter zones well populated on Tarnished Coast. It’s always a good idea to guest on a few servers to get an idea as to relative populations.

Same. Most starting areas have people in it when I go there.

Mostly it’s the mid-level areas, the dead zones of any MMO, that are empty. But, again, that happens to most mmos…

ALL MMOs , esp if it been out over a span of a month or so…you’ll be lucky to catch somone running around in this lower zones grinding , i’ve quit games in the past not knowing everyone was of higher level and having fun while i was busting my kitten trying to catch up to all the cool kids lol. Just focus on leveling OP , you’ll find out where everyone at once you’re of sufficient level..

I never expect to lose. Even when I’m the Engineer , I still prepare a victory speech.
