Guild Wars 2

This is going to sound stupid and naturally I expect intelligent replies and mocking ones, but I do have a question which needs an answer and well, seeing as I’ve been trying to find the ’’Luminate’’ in the golden city since release of the latest chapter without success I’m beginning to think that I’m missing something.

Now, is it necessary to play the previous chapter or can I just leap into A Crack in the Ice because I just quit Chapter 2 and went to Chapter 3 and yet, when I go the exact location of the ’’Luminate’’ in the city, there is no sign of them and despite my best efforts I cannot find them. The moment I leave the city, they are re-marked … and once I close on their location they fail to be there. What am I missing here? Naturally, until I can meet and converse with them I cannot proceed north into the newly added territories.

The area you need to reach is under the city. If you go to the waypoint inside the city and look around that central room, you’ll see a big hole in the ground. Jump down into the hole, and then take the tunnel that leads to the room marked on your map.
