Would it not be great for the players who missed the days when silverwastes was filled with players doing quests to have the option to buy the pieces instead? Make the 3 npcs wearing the respective heavy medium and light armor sets to sell the respective armor pieces as well as the carapace pieces? Make the prices to be similar to the cultural armor set pieces like tier 1 prices for the luminscent and tier 2 or 3 prices for the carapace? My friends and I actually quit because they are impossible le to get now that there is no one doing the quests. I think it would benefit the majority of the gw community to have this opportunity to save gold to buy the armor sets.

Silverwaste Event trains happen a lot. Check the lfg Central Tyria – Squads.

Just a few days ago, I was joining some random silverwastes runs through LFG which went just fine, since it really isn’t hard.
I’m not sure if this is an issue on NA, but on EU it definitely isn’t.

uhm why would the rare luminescent pieces that give you a mastery point and an ascendant chest be tier 1 prices??

and sw is very well populated still maybe you and your friends need to actually check lfg

Definitely not an NA issue either. It’s still the easiest way to make money if you don’t have HoT.

The pieces are still easy to obtain if you are willing to put the work in. People still run SW trains regularly. The hardest part is doing the LWS2 achievements tbh

I’ve been on successful random maps, just hopping in for a daily or to grab some ancient wood etc. As with most ‘older’ maps, LFG is a more reliable way to find a well-populated map.
