Guild Wars 2

While we will likely hear something either in a week or two, I was just wondering speculations on when you think the Lunar New Year event will be.
In 2015 it lasted from February 10th to February 24th, in 2016 it lasted from January 26th to February 9th. So it doesn’t seem to be consistent at all.

Thoughts?

Short answer: it’s based on the Chinese New Year, and the dates change each year.
Long answer: hooray for wikis

This year it falls on January 28th. Of course, I can’t speak for in-game activities, but I’m guessing a backpack lantern will become available again.

a rooster backpack should be .. interesting. a shame it will take a decade if one wanted all of the statues for their hall.

perhaps it will start on the 24th due to AN liking to add patches on tuesdays.
