I cant find anything written on this. Is it known if we will still have MF items like auger stones, philosopher stones, crystals, ect for MF forge recipes? How will the MF be handled in face of the loss of skill points?
They’re removing Skill Points. What about all those MF recipes that need mats you can only get with skillpoints?
You can never get those mats again, ever. They’re removing everything from the game that involved that resource. That includes legendaries, despite making a new system that technically will make it easier, or at least more reliable to get a legendary.
Or, more likely, they will change the process by which those mats are acquired.

so are they getting rid of skill points? and if so what about the people that have 100s of them unused as well as the inventory item that people have stacks of sitting in their banks. Are they seriously just getting rid of them with 0 compensation for them?
Excess skill points and any skill point scrolls will be converted to a wallet currency, which can then be used to buy items for the mystic forge. Level 80s will get hero points at update, 400 minimum if you level one to 80 using scrolls and crafting. More if you’ve done content.

What are the items and activities that are repeatable sources of skill points scrolls?
PvP- activity
Champ bags/lot boxes- item
Those should be the items and activities that will give the new “crafting material” that will be the currency when clicked.
I’m expecting tomes to drop from the same sources as current, however after a char is level 80, tomes will not give exp because the mastery bar every level 80 will have does not progress by exp but by another unnamed method. They won’t give Hero points (because those are finite in number). I’m expecting them to drop the “crafting material.”

Scrolls will not continue to drop as they will no longer be in game, if that’s what you are asking. They are removing skill points. But good luck in your prowling.

Scrolls will not continue to drop as they will no longer be in game, if that’s what you are asking. They are removing skill points. But good luck in your prowling.

Looks like I missunderstood you saying how we would get the resource in the future instead of what you actualy said.
That was how what we already got now will be converted when this change hit
