Hello i just want to ask if it is true that mini karka and generaly minis in southsun cove dont drop anymore ? thank you

afaik mini karka is a super rare drop in southsun.

Mini Karka and Reef Rider still drop, The Hatchling, Reef Drake, Kasmeer and Lord Faren dont drop anymore.

Where have you seen the Mini Karka and Reef Rider drop? They were only available in southsun chests, which no longer exist. If this was correct, the Hatchlings would also still drop.

Farming Sharks close to the Crab Toss Arena, bot hdropped for me.

Do you have a screenshot of this? How long did you farm the sharks for and how long ago did this happen? Thanks

I dont have a screenshot and i farmed for a long time a couple of months ago, the reef rider dropped multiple times.

The reef rider is definitely not from the chests or at least the chest was not the exclusive source. I remember this clearly because they kept trolling me with the steel chests when I was farming there during the event.

I call pics for proof or it didn’t happen! These minis have always been on a decline on the TP ever since the SS event ended which makes me believe they don’t drop anymore. Don’t be coned out of your precious mini by unfounded rumors. Personally I’m holding on to mine. One day it will be worth more then Kanaxai.

Chill out, nobody wants to cone anybody here. I simply answered the question of the OP. Just because supply declines on the tp doesnt mean its not dropping anymore.
In fact, you are wrong anyways because the supply of the Mini Karka was below 5 and over 20 multiple times since release.

The wiki also states the same, Karka and Reef Rider still drop, the other minis dont.

There’s a reason the karka, hatchlings and reef drake are 300g while the reef rider’s 1g.

They’ve been unavailable for ages.

Karka , Reef Drake and Hatchling are from Lost Shores back in Nov. 2012 (Consortium Chest). while Reef Rider is from Secret of/ Last Stand in Southsun in May 2013 (Southsun Supply Crate), which explains the different droprates and prices of those minis.

The wiki shouldn’t be trusted in such matters because it is based on user input. There is no reason why Karkas would still drop but hatchlings or reef drakes wouldn’t, so I’d say either they all drop very rarely or not at all.

Your answer sounded a bit too factual is all. :P
If a karka really dropped for you then you can assume the other two minis drop too, without being certain of course.

Well, i can be certain because it dropped for me. For me its fact.

Good to know that those three can still drop then. Their price on the tp is probably justified though.

Nobody, not on the wiki or in this topic said the Hatchling and Reef Drake still drop, only the Karka (and Reef Rider but that one is from another event).

What difference does it make anyways? The supply in game now is still a big as right after the event because you cant consume, forge or bind those minis anyways. So if nobody deliberately destroyed them, there is no way that their accumulated supply on and off the tp will deplete.

The reason noone says hatchlings or drakes drop is because they are so rare. If we believe you and assume Karkas still drop there is no reason to assume the other two can’t drop.

Oh ya, the Reef Rider, forgot that one.. I would expect it still to drop.

The Reef Drake was what I was thinking of.

Players who quit playing or have their accounts banned make them as much deleted as anything.

All I’m hearing is someone who is trying to get the price of the mini karka to drop so they can scoop some up

I had a reef rider drop from killing a vet reef rider. No Southsun supply crate, just a “normal” rare chest.

I don’t know what the odds are, or if they still drop.

Reef Rider okay. Karka, Hatchling, Reef Drake from Southsun chests.

Oh, and you used to be able to get Southsun chests from a Mystic Forge Recipe, but that was removed around the second southsun event.

Well, from the first event we have 3 minis, karka, hatchling and reef drake, of which only the karka still drops from regular mobs.
From the 2nd event we also have 3 minis, kasmeer, lord Faren and Reef Rider, of which only the reef rider still drops.

So 1/3 Minis from each set still drop.
