So, I haven’t checked, but using this logic then Fractals, WvW, and PvP should not progress masteries either. Do they progress?

Its farmed for a reason with its volume of mobs and events. Now add the xp you get from it to masteries and you can see the problems. So they just ommited it
when you look at the masteries panel, the area where you can level up your masteries are specified.

The flaw with this general logic is that the same can be achieved by speed clearing dungeon paths. Was that also omitted?

dungeon paths experienced was also nerfed today ( with the gold nerf)
you need now almost 3 paths for one level instead of one path one level

hmm id heard about the gold and loot, but not the xp.
Dungeons
Dungeon rewards have been rebalanced to more accurately reflect the time needed to complete them. Experience and gold awarded for completing a dungeon have been reduced.

Got these rewards in AC P1:
1. Event window after cutscene:
- 26 Silver
- 66.675 Experience Points
- 20 Tears2. Chest:
- 50 Silver
- 40 TearsSame for AC P3!
I think we can confirm a 66% reduction of the daily gold income in dungeons.

Why no exp from mad king labirinth?
Makes no sense, its part of core tyria activities. Why the hell no exp for masteries when we’re clearly gaining exp.
Its bad enough they launched halloween with HoT, now they even gate it further? Its stupid and for no good reason.
