Yeah, the 2nd one slaughters me every time.

It’s so true how people will complain about a particular MMO into the ground, but when it dies or they move on to another MMO, they’ll invoke the one they were ripping on in later conversations like it was the best thing since sliced bread to tear apart their current.

The joke is that PUGs are generally kitten and fall apart when the wrong people are put together, causing ad hominem en masse. Stereotypically, the person would imagine their teammates as being bad PUG’ers but everyone in the party is thinking the same thing.

Hahaha, I know what you mean. More or less though, I think the general example for it is how easily people criticize an MMO to death during its lifespan, but then praise it later when it’s gone.
