I was just wondering if the mad king outfit is worth it. I may use cash to get the gems or I may use gold. How does it look in person? Does it get boring to look at after a while or does it still look cool after long use. For those that already have it what would you rate it out of 5. What are the good and bad things about this outfit? Thank you for feedback.

I like mine; I’ve had it since the first Halloween. The toys included used to be quite useful back when we still did Costume Brawls, but I suppose that’s not much of a selling point, anymore.

I mostly use it only during the season nowadays, though, as I have other costumes that are more appropriate off-season when I wish to hide my armor.

If you want to dress up for Halloween, then any of the Halloween-themed Outfits are good, though one of the ones that are not so specific to the holiday might see more use.

If you’re going to get it, I’d say use it on larger bodies. It looks really, really cool when you’re on a charr or norn because you can see the neat detail of the spine and ribs better than you can on humans, sylvari, and especially asura. Charr tails also get a cool look with the outfit.

The good thing about outfits is that you can toggle them on and off anytime you want, on any character on your account. Wear it until you get tired of it, and then come back to it again once you want to see it.

I have a norn so I’ll definitely try it out on him and I’m thinking of wearing it even when its not Halloween season, but it sounds like its a nice outfit to have. Thank you for the feedback.
