I logged in today, went to bank, got knocked down and realized Mad King Says had started. Played. Got 2 key fragments. Fine, I’ll get the last one later, I thought. Played 2 more times. Neither one yielded any fragments, even though I did have enough stacks of favor and got the usual “event completed” popup (just no fragment reward).

Is this intentional, that only your first play in the day will yield any key fragments?

Oh dear. I hope not. I have a 2 fragment surplus myself due to arriving late a couple of days ago exactly as you did. I may have to “throw” a game to earn just one.

That or just toss out the two fragments when the festival is over.

Only one play through per day yields key fragments, I’m pretty sure.

You should get the missing key fragment, at least I did when I came too late for the event and came back for the missing part.

It was before hotfixes though, so I don’t know if those patches messed it up.

I just tested it, did a MKS (thanks to him knocking me down when I was at the TP, well away from the event so I figured what the heck and trotted over). I got 14 stacks of correct answers, no new fragments — I had done MKS at reset last night for full credit.

So if you don’t get three fragments in one go, I guess you’re out of luck for that day.

Indeed. I found that to be the case^. There are some similar posts in Bugs.

As with Stiofan, that’s how I got only two key fragments, and could never get the odd ‘just one’. I did get 3 key fragments, I thought on the same day, but it must have been after reset.

I think its bugged, I just did mad king says for the first time today and got 13 stacks but only 2 keys, Other people in map chat said the same, Some got one some got none.
