Since GW2 Devs have gave a hint at bringing back old outfits for a short time, do you think they are pulling out he Mad King outfit anytime soon?

I say this because I have 1200 gems in my account I haven’t used for a long time. I want to either sell them for gold and get a level 80 character through crafting, or wait it out for that awesome mad king since it’s combat-enabled.

Anyone have any ideas?

I am sure it will return near Halloween. Before that? Anyone’s guess. They did just bring the Wintersday Outfit back, temporarily.

Even if they don’t release the outfit “soon,” there’s a very strong likelihood it will return around Halloween. It was in the gem store for both 2012 and 2013, I don’t see 2014 magically breaking the point. It’s totally up to you, though.

The Mad King costume has been available for two years in a row now, so it seems logical that it will continue to be available every Halloween. I don’t know for sure what will happen to the costume, however, and afaik ANet haven’t commented on what they plan on doing with it.

An alternative option for you is, pending stable gem exchange rates, you could sell your gems for gold right now, then spend the rest of the year earning back the gold to buy gems in time for Halloween.

Making me jelly Anyways, I dunno what to get with them! Is crafting to 80 still around 40-50 gold? If not, maybe I could try my fun with getting another endless tonic.

I’m hopeful they’ll bring back the Blood Prince outfit, as well. I suspect Mad King Thorn will be back, since the blog post did use the plural of the most popular outfit*s*, and that has to be one of their biggest sellers.

It absolutely is not 40-50 gold to craft to Level 80. It is, in my opinion, much more fun to level up with content, especially if you are creating a new character with the changes to Traits, and all.

SAME HERE! I am loving it and I wish it stay exclusive but in a way that’s not what this game is about so i guess, why not bring it back.
