Can someone explain what this is? I’m curious about it since I got hit in WvW with the skill for 7k dmg. Its it a tally of clone dmg ?

I remember getting hit by this in sPvP and wondering the same thing. Person who hit me had no idea either. I’m curious about this too.

Some said it had something to do with lightning. Perhaps a rune. Can’t remember for sure if someone found out what it was.

I think it has something to do with Phantasmal Mage but I may be off the mark.

Or it could be the reason there are no Mages in GW2. They all went on strike. :P

Well as far as I can tell there is no such rune. Perhaps its Lightning Strike but I don’t know enough about the skill/sigil to say for sure.

That’s one painful Phantasmal Mage but if it is so then so be it I just want to know for sure so I can avoid (hopefully) getting hit with it again. (If it’s the Light sigil I think I’m out of luck)

Haha well if they could take the “strike” on strike a little less literally I wouldn’t mind their protest.

Mage Strike is the name of the Illusionary Warlock’s attack (Mesmer Staff #3).

I am learning to time it still as I was testing a build.

The Warlock’s damage increases with each condition. Reaching 7k crit and beyond is possible with full Berserker gear and the right setup.

If you see this skill in your log better start hitting your condition cleanse.
