Am I the only one who thinks it’s not cool to have magic find on a weapon that requires a heck of a lot of farming and playtime to get? I mean I’m all for getting items purely for aesthetics but when it costs more than 100g I don’t really want +3% MF on my weapon.

This is on the Infinite Light sword, not sure if it’s on anything else.

No matter what stats they put on it someone will always be unsatisfied because it doesn’t contain the stats they want. Luckily it is transmutable so it’s really not that big of a deal.

That is the reason I started this topic, to see if there are people who make their end game goal to get a legendary item or mystic forge item for magic find. I’m stating this more for curiosity than to demand a change.

Agreed, however with the introduction of ascended gear and the prospects of the stat upgrades spreading to weapons has me concerned. I guess a more appropriate question would be “if new items are introduced with better stats, will all mystic forge weapons be upgraded as well, or just the legendaries?”

Don’t quite remember where I heard it from, but I read somewhere that if the ascended concept spreads to weapons, the stats on legendary weapons would be increased to match the new weapons.

its just the legendaries
