Oh no… I was going to make a set of Trailblazer’s Armor. Not possible for me now that Lilies are about 18g each.

Yea, i had considered buying a few to make a few more versions of caladbolg, but not for that price. The drop rate should have been increased this last patch.

I’m sure someone will consider 18g-per to be worth farming them.

Unnecessary as the price is dropping back down to its normal price. Players will always pay a premium to be among the first. Considering that you can stat swap for free, and go between those weapon types, I’d say the cost to craft is more than reasonable even if lilies were 25G each.

Oh I already tried “farming” them when they were 8g.. Problem is finding the nodes (ran around AB for over an hour, and apart from the 2 that always spawn in mid, I found a grand total of 4) to begin with.. Then with a 0.88% dropchance for Maguuma Lily that would take me on average what? 340 AB maps to get the 18 needed for an armor set? I’m not against farming but really… I’m pretty sure 340 hours of any other type of active gaming would net me a bigger profit than the 324 gold I’d have to spend on just buying them at their current super high price (hopefully going down already).
Having harvested most Jungle Plants I’ve come across since HoT launch and only having received 3 I don’t see myself crafting Trailblazer Armor any time soon unless I admit defeat and use the TP….. Even Freshwater Pearls I’ve found like.. 5? Flax Blossoms.. 250+. Might wanna balance the droprates a little bit, or atleast make Jungle Plants much more common. :/

Price rise may be a side effect of the end of AB multiloot. Some squads would stay together after the ML and hop maps to harvest the two nodes next to the vendor.

You could typically harvest 16-20 nodes in a few minutes.

Nah. The price is a direct result of the Caladbolg stuff. Some people are probably still unaware that you can unlock all the skin with just 4000 unbound magic. Alternatively they know but this is still a very cheap way to make an almost legendary sword/dagger/scepter/shield/greatsword.
