I had to mail my friend 50 silver. I sent it 3 times and it never showed up. His mail box is not full, and I definitely sent it to his account (right click > send mail).

The only thing I can think of is that I did not put any text in the subject or body. Is that a known glitch that I’m unaware of? Has anyone else run into this problem? Can I get my monies back or is it lost to the void of nothingness…

Or did you send it to the wrong person?

I send my SO things with no text at all, all the time. Never any problem. Remember, just because the mail counter says it isn’t full, does not mean it really isn’t. It is somewhat bugged. Too many mail messages is the number one cause of missing items delivered through the mail system.

My wife and I send money and items between us often and never lost anything. If it happened once I’d say the mail system glitched, but three times is most likely human error.

No mail bug exists as far as I know.

Did you type in their account name without the ending numbers?

Say if I send a Mail message to HuNT, it’s not going to get sent to HuNT.4925, it’s going to get sent to some guy with the name Hunt.

If you were to send a Mail to Esplen instead of Esplen.3940, however, it would still be received by the same person because I have a character named Esplen.

Make sure you have the right recipient, use the Right Click —> Send Mail To option to ensure correct names.

I sent this person in map chat some gold for an item and never got the item in the mail. He swore he sent it. His name was Scammer the Spammer. Before the deal I asked him about his name and he said it was Lithuanian for Very Honest. Mail must have been glitched for sure. He told me 10 times he sent it before blocking me for asking him about it so much. Oh well it was only 540 gold.
