Hi there, I’ve been playing Guild wars 2 and loved the game since i started in October, I’ve joined a guild i really like (Hunters of the Land Andcc)[HOTL]

I’ve had to send mail to each guild member with a notice about the recent changes to the guild, and i found that it was just a giant pain in the butt to mail one notice to each person at a time (At that time it was around 80/100 people I’ve had to send a notice to)
what I’m suggesting is that we can send multiple mail messages at once so like
[Name1] , [Name2] , [Name3].
I know this can be exploited for Bots and such, so as a counter against that, you can put in Captchas when its more than 2 people being sent the mail and have a given time interval, so like 5 minutes between each multiple people

TL;DR : I want to Implement a system to Send more than 1 mail at a time, Counter measure against bots who can spam that, Use Captcha, and 5 minutes Interval between each mail.

Here’s the correct way to update a guild’s MOTD:

1. Click edit.
2. Type in your message.
3. PM everyone telling them to read the MOTD.

I like the idea of multi-mailing.

“Guild Mail” was a hotly supported discussion topic of the Guild CDI, so I would expect to see something similar to that in a future patch next year.

If they are the type to regularly check the Message of the Day. I don’t know about you but the guilds I’ve been in, it’s more like the message of the month or the message of the year. It’s not something that changes on a regular basis, much less a frequent one.

In Guild Wars 1 the message of the day showed on the chat screen when you first logged in. Made it easy for everyone to see and didn’t require people to be obsessively checking a message that might not change from one month to the next.

if you need to remind people of new things in your guild by external ways of guild system , then the problem is your guild members
