Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone, i’m Zabriel and this game is awesome. I know that there are some bugs but its a fairly new mmo so that sort of stuff is bound to happen. I just wanted to start a discussion on the main towns. Apparently, everyone is in lions arch. Lions Arch is so over crowded!!! I mean if anyone goes to the the other towns, its just low lvl players. I wish people would spread out a lil to The Grove, or Black Citadel or their favorite towns. I know that people are in lions Arch just for to call out players in MAP to go to a dungeon or something. But I really think people should spread out to over towns. What do you guys think?

PS. Please feel free to say your favorite town. My Favorite town is Divinity’s Reach.

It would be nice if that happened. I’m on Tarnished Coast which seems to be the RP meca.

I can’t imagine how empty these places would feel if i didn’t see RPers sitting around talking in emotes all day. It would be sad to me too.

Well its a great idea, and i’d love to see less people in one that one place but you have a few cwntral problems: Mystic forge and the Fractals are in LA, and its just easier to find things. It takes me a while to actually get to the TP in the Black Citadel every time, even though it looks awesome.

I think it was a mistake putting fractals in LA. There was alot of people in LA anyway, so with fractals you now always get put in overflow when visiting LA. Fractals would have been better placed in another major city or in a zone adjacent LA.

I hate LA and I never go there unless I really really have to. I love Divinity’s Reach and now that I have a Sylvari I use The Grove a lot too. DR always seems to have crowds of people but The Grove is much more empty.
The mini games would go along way towards making the cities more active

Hmm, having all main cities world chat tied together and their overflow, and the ability to have people of other main cities join your dungeon….dosen’t seem like it would be hard to do.

Isnt that what LA is suppose to be though, the last Capitol, where everyone comes together?

The capital you speak of is 100 feet under water

My favorite city is The Grove. Looks beautiful and is small enough that I can get from point A to point B without excessive waypointing or running.

I’d love to see more people in the other cities, but without incentive, nobody will go there. We need mini-games that draw players away from LA when they aren’t searching for dungeon groups. This is especially true now that the new Fractals are based in LA, clogging the chat channel with dungeon seekers instead of general chat.

I would change world if people were role playing.

I think they did this so that cross-server groups can take advantage of the overflows.
