Hey anyone remembers the map inside the Chantry of Secrets and the weird blue dots/lines? http://1drv.ms/1DrG7WO

What if these are actual leylines how they were planned to be? You see a huge ball (leyline hub?) in Diviny’s Reach, and on release there was this giant gaping hole there… What if ANet originally planned to totally destroy DR instead of LA, which also makes sense with the Asura personal story where the Battle of Divity’s Reach is already mentioned. This later could have been reworked into the one we got, after they changed the leylines and set it into LA and replacing the crater with the Crown Pavilion.

It also shows a minor blob where Southsun Cove eventually appeared and another around the area of the Tower of Nightmares.

They still could trash DR (I would weep, it’s the most city of cities in the game). I’m highly nervous about that Seraph in Camp Resolve who keeps muttering “I hope the Queen held enough of us back to defend DR, if it comes to that.”

Yes, he says the letters D.R., thus validating a lot of RP! Now I just need to find an NPC calling it “the Reach.”

I actually don’t think they would trash DR because it would be really hard for the new human characters story to make sense then. (The LA part is already a bit wonky and was ridiculous while the Battle for Lions Arch was underway, just wouldn’t work as a permanent thing imo)

I’m pretty sure some have. Maybe Marjory or Kasmeer in a living world instance? I definitely don’t know exactly when it happened, though, so I have no idea how to look it up.
