Make all Portal Scrolls to just 1 Item
Yes please, Portal scroll, you can double click purchasable scrolls including the ones you buy for gems into a menu that you can select where you want to go.
This idea doesn’t only make sense in theory but has many other benefits too.
The potential of less tickets to support of lost scroll items bought from gem shop.
Oh that would be sweet if they did that, instead of taking up 4 spaces it would take up 1, such a nice QoL improvement, Anet needs to make this happen.
It would be nice if they could do this.
+1 to all “make all [same things] one item” suggestions.
Actually, why is it even a scroll? Why not turn it into an account unlock? Spend unbound magic and every character on your account gains access to one WP on the new map (or even all 3 WPs, since there are generally so few). That eliminates the need to keep track of an inventory item.
I haven’t bought any of them because I can’t really imagine using them more than once per character.
Plus, they can show the locations that are not unlocked greyed out with a little purchase icon next to it to generate gem store sales. I’m referring to the Divinity Reach, Airship, etc passes.

Yeah, I was hesitant about buying them too, but then I bought the one for Bitterfrost Frontier. I keep all of my level 80’s at the flax farm in VB, so when I wanted to hop to Bitterfrost to farm berries, or whatever, it was ~4 silver to way point in. Use the scroll and it drops you at the central WP for free. Considering that at first I hit the map on 5 or 6 toons, that’s 20-24 silver per day that I’d save. Two or three days and you’ve saved the 50 silver the scroll cost. Hopping to the Guildhall is free, so that cut the return to the flax farm down to ~1.5 silver or so.
Okay, yes, I’m talking about saving a couple of silver per day per toon, but that can add up quick. And as I’m salvaging everything and selling very little so that I can level our GH, saving 10 or 20 silver per day is pretty meaningful for my income.
This would be a very nice thing for Anet to do for us. Especially since we will end up with Six of them for this season, possibly more if they do things the same way for Season 4.
I think that the "account-wide unlock of the first WP on the new map " idea is also very good. But Anet probably won’t do that for this season.(Hopefully for Season 4)

My point is I’d be prepared to spend a few gold to avoid having to deal with 6 scrolls per living story. In other words, I agree with you that the the scrolls are cost efficient if you use them every day. For those of us who only send at most toon per day, if that, … well, I’m prepared to spend a few gold to avoid having 6 additional inventory items just for transportation (never mind all the other detritus that builds up during each episode).
Considering I’ve been buying shared inventory slots to keep these suckers in…
YES PLEASE!
I was hoping for a Season 3 Teleport Book by now. Maybe when all 6 episodes are done? I could live with that.

I also agree that having all these scrolls will cause problems in the long run. Imagine living story 5 where we will have like 15 scrolls lol. A book is a good idea.
for there you have been and there you will long to return.

Please don’t torment me with that thought. I don’t have enough condi clear. ;__;
Also, we’re going to need an Eater Eater soon enough.
(Not a bad idea, honestly. It would consume eater items and summon a vendor that allows the same level of trades.)

Yes, please. Being able to add the scrolls as pages to a single portal book is much needed.
I’m up to 6 of my shared slots used for these scrolls now (5 maps + the Royal Terrace). While I have the Airship pass on an alt, from before shared slots showed up, I never use it. And tempted as I was by the VB and EB passes, I could not make myself shell out the cash — almost all my gems are cash bought — for things that just would not work for all my alts at once.
I have all possible shared slots and they are used up with mobility (passes and tele-to-friend), chest keys (for 4 HoT maps), and utility (3 infinite tools and a stack of bank expresses). There’s no room for any fun things or even for SW keys, so again, I find myself reluctant to purchase travel items or other account-wide things that I won’t have room to use account-wide. And I’m not looking forward to earning the new map’s eater, though at least I have the bank room for it now that map currencies go into mats.
This is a serious QoL issue for players and possibly is costing ANet money due to our reluctance to buy things we don’t have room for.
Yes, combine all the passes AND add another set of shared inventory slots.
