Make destiny's edge 2.0 customizable?
Does that mean I could put bunny ears on Braham?
What’s the point? You have no direct control over them. They hardly fight anyways and they all die very easily.
Perhaps optional rather than customizable. The ability to leave them out might be more interesting than the ability to create their build.
Ew, no. I actually disliked that feature in GW1. I felt like my character was too weak and I needed support from silly NPCs.

That is infact the point ;-)
GW1 hero’s are similar to gw2 ranger Pets only they were more customizable and much more controlable.

I don’t think they are going to backoff from the HoT format where you actually need allies/friends. I’d expect more challenging content than lolOrr. It is much bigger than just one player. Adding stronger customizable npcs would be a route to go for people who like to go it alone. Hardmode story would be a more challenging experience for both hero lovers and groups.
Being someone who came from gw1, you must realize that both heros and Hardmode brought huge life into that game. I’m not saying it would do the same in gw2 though cause Ya it’s a different experience/layout.

Well you’re asking for direct control which wasn’t in your original post and I suspect there’s a greater chance of us having 97 new legendaries before that!

Yeah but GW1 was built around parties. GW2 is not. The NPCs are there for story and to do scripted things. It doesn’t’ matter if they really do much in the fights.
Kk no one likes idea. I can accept it :-)
I thought this was going to be about letting us choose which 4 come with us in our party for missions, kind of like when we had to choose who would help us fight Mordremoth.
I think that could be fun. Especially if you got slightly different outcomes or dialogue choices depending on who you bring along, it would add extra replay value.
