Make previewing every gear possible

I don’t understand why you can’t preview gear that isn’t available to your profession. Even though I can’t wear it, I want to check out how it would look on my character. Many times my friends link me gear that looks cool but I can’t see it until they equip it. It does no harm in allowing this option, I find it to be a useless restriction. Is there any reason it’s impossible to preview all gear?

Anet flubbed up and made it impossible to preview stuff your character can’t wear a few patches back, just before Christmas. Don’t worry though, they admitted it being unintended so it will probably be changed back soon.

I can do thirty Five-Dolyak Arm Curls.

i was sad when the update took away this preview capability. its always fun to see toons with diff armor they will never be able to wear ^^

You guys dont have to worry it will be back. Anet said that it is intended for now and was disabled while they improved the previewing system.

As it has been correctly stated here, the previewing feature such as it is right now is just temporal and will change back very soon but we ask for a little bit more of patience till it gets updated and released.
