The title pretty much says it all. Make representing a Guild matter. It did Before the whole guild system was re-worked but now its pretty much useless to represent a Guild apart from when doing missions or to get one bonus from the GH.

Find an atrtactive reason to represent a Guild plz.

Btw, plz come with suggestions!

What do you think would be a good reason to represent a guild? What would persuade you to choose 1 guild over another?

My main reason has definitely lessened post-HoT. Guilds have always been primarily social for me, so the main reason to represent one was to see chat. But I still prefer to represent the guild I’m talking to because the bright yellow is easier to keep track of in a busy chat box than dull brown.

Other reasons are for the bonuses (like reduced waypoint costs), because I’m playing with them and either have to for missions or because it makes it easier to spot guild members around me and to show off the guild name. (Not that I expect anyone to care about my guild name, although I’ve occasionally had comments about them, but I like showing it anyway.)

I find myself switching guilds a lot more since HoT came out, but it’s hard to say if that’s because of changes to the game or because of the guilds I’m in and how I interact with them.

But the one I’m representing is almost always a deliberate choice, not something I changed for a brief benefit and then forgot about.
