Make the mini pet as fast as the char

Well if you get too far away from the mini it will teleport itself directly to you so it’s not like it will get stuck clear across the other side of the map. Personally I think it works fine the way it is, especially because when I’m fighting stuff I’m not thinking about where my mini is.
There’s something charming about rangers.
It would be nice if ground-based minis didn’t hover in the air when you’re standing on a narrow ledge or something. If the mini can’t find somewhere to stand near me (scoot in close, little buddy. I won’t bite.) then it should stand on the ground far below. Only the mini-Teq and other flying minis are allowed to hover.

I still wish the mini could catch up with us, make as fast as ranger pets. What the point of having a loyal companion that always trails way behind you and has to teleport every 5 secs when running?
I really like the way the Mini Red Spark teleports. If they always kept up, we’d never see that cool animation.
Still, I suppose that’s not enough reason for all the others to lag behind. =/

No reason why the red spark mini couldn’t stay at its current speed even if other minis are faster and keep teleporting. It would make for a little more variety and interest.
It’s already hilarious when a thief tries to sneak up on you with a mini equipped. No need to make the mini show exactly where the thief is too.

That’s a good point – should minis stealth when their owners stealth?
Yes, the mini pets should be able to stealth when owner is stealth.
