I hate having the quest bar always open on the upper right corner of my screen, it’s not information I need to see every moment of the game.

Please make it slide off-screen until moused over, or unless actually in the event area. I’ve doctored up a screenshot below as to what I’m talking about. Each element can be moused over individually, and if desired locked into the visible position. Below we see three quests closed and the current event visible. Tell me this doesn’t look much better than what we have:

I hate the quest log on the top right. I want to remove all of it. I’m never finishing the personal story. I don’t do dailies unless by accident. I have no use for that feature of the UI. It’s like having a smudge on my glasses that I can’t wipe off. Extremely annoying.

I want full control. Let me add/remove any part of the UI, the way GW1 worked.

Yes, the UI is obnoxious in this game. Please let us make some of it go away until we actually want to see it.
And when new, local events pop up, please just make it show the title, then you can then click on that to open up the information.
Sometimes, I walk into an area and suddenly 3/4 of the right side of my screen is screaming at me & blocking my view >.<
