Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone knew how much xp you get from map completion in each major city? my idea is to do map completion to level up to 10 for Black Lion Chest Key farming.

OK so it’s 10% when the map is completed but what about for the Pop’s, way points and vista’s for each city? I would like to know the total amount for each city if that’s possible

It should be 10% of the zone’s max level other than cities which you mentioned. So for Queensdale, you’d get 10% XP of what you would have gotten as a level 15.

It used to be about 7 levels for completing all the Cities. But, that was before the changes in Leveling speed brought about by the NPE. The formulas used calculate XP gained on Area Level, but Cities are Level 0? So, I don’t know what the formula used for Cities is.

Perhaps, you could document the information and add it to the Wiki. =)

last time I did all the cities, including Lion’s Arch (after the changes) I got to level 9, so would be really easy to grab a few hearts after that to get to 10.

Ok so when I get the time this weekend I’ll run all the cities and note down all the xp for the way points etc and note down the xp needed for each level. Saying that I remember getting 26 xp for the POI’s each in hoelbrak as it doesn’t get affected by xp boosters
