This is only an idea, but I think it would be helpful to include a Search feature in the world map view, to type in the name of a region, a waypoint, a poi to help players quickly find an area they would like to teleport or visit.

Should the search find unopened wps and pois? Perhaps only wps, not pois. Already clicking a chat link to an unopened wp, shows its location. Does the same happen with unopened poi, if they can be linked at all?
