Hi!

I was on the Evon support achievment, you know when you have to finish 20 event while supporting Evon. I asked the community of map for event, after they linked the waypoint, i did thank it. And after we done the event in like 5 min, i wanted to ask again and i was blocked from map channel. ?!?!?!!?! ’-,-. Attachment in below.

Seriously? yes I am mad. I have the reason for being mad. Tell me dear Support Team, where the hell i should ask if there is an event or not , if not on the prickin map channel?
This happened me yesterday too, i thought some idiot reporting me for fun or etc, but twice in 24 hours ? Man i didn’t spam it like event-event-event -event? asked it 2 times in 10 minute, didn’t spam ty-ty-ty-ty either. How is this even consider as a spam.

Solution: Next time i won’t say thanks to anyone. Acting like jerk to avoid block – check.

If you type the same lines it will register it as spam. Make sure you not type more than 3 times in the same minute (there are bypasses around this, but for the layman, 3 times a minute is the most) and make sure that they are spaced out, so you don’t type 3x in 10 seconds.

AND make sure you don’t press up→enter or type the same thing. Say “are there any events?” “any events” “events?” etc

i typed twice in 10 minutes. like 1st min 8th min and 8.5th min when i thanked. that was all if it consider as spam i would really like to talk who made this system.

It looks like, from your screenshot, that it suppressed whatever you said after ‘ty’. Perhaps, that was just too soon. It is hard to tell without timestamps. If you feel you are being suppressed without cause, you can and should put in a bug report, and ask for some help with it. =)

The chat system goes crazy over the strangest of things. I often help people through areas(such as jump puzzles.), however if i try to say in map chat that we’re helping too many times it often blocks me.(and I’m usually messaging once every 5 minutes.)

I found if you never repeat what you say or type small messages it seems to keep it from dropping the ban hammer.

Seriously though this is all an over complicated solution. Want to block excessive messaging? Here’s how.
1)block messages from any user that messages more than x times within y seconds.
